# Components:
→ Sausages
01 - 2 large bratwurst sausages (approx. 8.8 oz total)
02 - 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
→ Curry Sauce
03 - 1/2 cup ketchup
04 - 1 tablespoon tomato paste
05 - 2 teaspoons mild curry powder, plus extra for garnish
06 - 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
07 - 1 teaspoon honey or sugar
08 - 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
09 - 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
10 - 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
11 - 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
12 - 2 tablespoons water
13 - Pinch of salt and black pepper
# Directions:
01 - Warm vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add bratwurst sausages and cook, turning occasionally, until evenly browned and cooked through, approximately 10 to 12 minutes. Remove sausages and allow to rest for 2 minutes.
02 - While sausages cook, combine ketchup, tomato paste, curry powder, Worcestershire sauce, honey, smoked paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, apple cider vinegar, water, salt, and black pepper in a small saucepan. Stir thoroughly and gently simmer over low heat for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until thickened and aromatic.
03 - Cut cooked bratwurst into bite-sized slices and arrange on a serving plate.
04 - Generously drizzle warm curry sauce over sausage slices. Sprinkle extra curry powder on top for garnish.
05 - Present immediately, traditionally accompanied with French fries or a bread roll.
